We demonstrate an IOT-based EV Charging Slot Booking System in this project. Electric vehicle (EV) adoption is straining charging infrastructure, making slots scarce. This project uses IoT and a Raspberry Pi Pico microcontroller to create a new EV charging slot booking block. Real-time slot availability monitoring, secure booking and reservation administration, user identification, and integrated charge control are included. Implemented using IOT, Arduino microcontroller, GSM, keypad, RPS, RTC, LCD, buzzer, Arduino IDE tool, and embedded c language, the system successfully books slots using IOT application, activates RTC and sends an activation code to the registered user using GSM module, and activates the charging station after entering the code and required charging amount. This method could boost charging efficiency, minimize wait times, and improve user convenience, advancing smart grid management and sustainable mobility.
